Guy Hargreaves is a retired Supervisory Special Agent of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration who was the manager of the DEA Clandestine Laboratory Specialized Training Unit in Quantico, Virginia, and the National Coordinator for the DEA Methamphetamine Program “Operation Velocity” at DEA Headquarters. He also served tours of duty with “Operation Snowcap” where he participated in the execution of raids on cocaine laboratories in the jungles of Bolivia. He has executed hundreds of arrests during his career and raided various types of clandestine laboratories. His extensive law enforcement experience includes employment as a DEA Special Agent (1985-2006), CIA Special Agent (1982-1985), Dallas Police Officer (1978-1981), and FBI Fingerprint Examiner (1977-1978). He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas in 1977 and has published law enforcement related articles for the FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin, numerous training films for the DEA Academy training, and was the Editor of the 1981 Dallas Police Department’s Centennial Edition 100 year history and yearbook.
